The Hrozen Pension is located in the heart of picturesque town of Kroměříž . The town was established in 1260 by Bruno of Schauenburg a bishop of Olomouc and is known as "the Athens of Haná" for a number of sights and its rich history.
In the center of Kroměříž, there is a wide range of restaurants which offer various cuisines and dining styles. A not-to-be-missed attraction of Kroměříž is the Chateau of Kroměříž with Archbishop's wine cellars which offer a wide range of selection wines. Further sights are the gothic St. Moritz Cathedral with adjacent chapter established in 1260, the Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary rebuilt into baroque style in 1736, the Bishop’s Mint from 1665, the Flower Garden and the Chateau garden. In 1998, the Chateau of Kroměříž, together with the two gardens, was registered to the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. Kroměříž, thanks to the Chateau that boasts with a vast collection of paintings, two unique gardens, and a beautiful historical center with a number of churches and sights, certainly belongs to popular tourist destinations of the Czech Republic.
